Chapter 224

Raven turned around and looked at Blaze who had looked just as confused as she did.

“What does it mean...?” Blaze muttered while feeling a little concerned. Since he was the one who lost, whatever they would be doing from tomorrow onwards, it would definitely be harder on him.

“He would most likely make us train every day,” Raven spoke her mind.

Both of them felt a shiver run through their spine at the thought of training with Ozul every day.

. . .

Ozul arrived at the 7th floor where only the core members of the organization were allowed and looked for Haley or Oliver for their current situation.

.....

Before he did anything dangerous, he wanted to make sure that there weren’t other problems that he needed to deal with beforehand. It was better to solve every situation as they occur because if he let them all pile up, it would become a headache.

Haley was busy in her office after the meeting, looking at several files in her hands. Dibly stood beside her arranging whatever document she handed him in a certain order.

There were so many documents and papers in her office that the room filled with a sweet and musky smell.

With Ozul’s entry, Haley was about to stand up but he waved his hands, telling her not to bother.

“Do you need anything, Young Master?” Haley asked, neatly putting aside all the documents before her. She had to handle the daily reports from almost a hundred branches, so these many documents were understandable.

“Give me the brief report of our present situation,” Ozul said before taking a seat before her.

Haley nodded her head and flipped through a couple of files before taking out a document.

“Young Master, things aren’t much different these days. I have been focusing on checking every branch to see if there is any problem. After that, we plan to...” Haley began to explain what they had decided over the daily meetings.

A couple of the branch organizations were having trouble. Most of the ones in trouble were because of the local authorities, so she only had to send a couple of people for protection. They were only sent there to defend if anyone caused more problems.

This was only a small matter, but they had decided that it was better to tidy everything first before starting to grow more.

Haley explained that they had already started to plan the implementation of creating the sub headquarters. They were only waiting to confirm that everything else was working fine.

“When do you plan to start?” Ozul asked, staring outside the window.

“I presume in a couple of days?” Haley replied, unsure since they had yet to receive reports from every branch.

Ozul waited for a good couple of minutes before he said, “Start training people without letting anyone know.”

“Training people? For what?” Haley asked confusedly.

“We will be creating a personal division in the organization. Name them whatever, but only the core members who have taken oaths should know about their existence. Also, whoever you train, they would take oaths to instantly die the moment they tried to betray the organization,” Ozul calmly explained.

The more Haley heard the wider her eyes went. They were planning to create a similar division of elite people, but not at the scale and at the level of secrecy that Ozul was describing them

“What would their purpose be?” Haley asked. She didn’t mean to ask him questions, but it was necessary that the people who trained them and the ones joining those ranks should know what their main task was.

Ozul understood why Haley asked, but he replied, “When the time comes, I will tell them personally.”

Before Haley asked again, he continued, “Teach them everything. Focus more on teamwork and their stealth. Also, you are free to spend how much resources you want from the vaults of the Three-Eyed Strangers on them.”

Haley almost gulped because allowing the usage of their treasury however she liked on this new division meant another responsibility for her. If she gave them too much, then it would start to affect the organization but if she didn’t give them enough, their growth wouldn’t meet Ozul’s expectations.

There was just too much to think about. Ozul noticed her dilemma and offered, “If you have too much on your hands, get Oliver on the job as well. It doesn’t matter if he misses some nights of sleep.”

With this comment, Haley’s face blossomed with a sweet smile. If she could give whatever order to Oliver in this task, then things all of sudden looked too easy in her eyes.

In the office at a little distance from them, Oliver felt a shiver run through his spine as he hurriedly looked around to find the cause, ‘who did I offend now?!’

. . .

After telling Haley what he wanted, Ozul made his way back to his room.

This separate division that he was planning to create was his main goal when he had started to plan on creating the Three-Eyed Strangers.

The organization would keep its work as a normal group of people collecting your everyday information from all over the continent. But what he wanted wasn’t just ordinary information.

He wanted to find clues about the life-like symbols on his limbs at the time of his birth! And he was pretty certain that he wouldn’t find any information about them on just the streets.

If he wanted to be absolutely sure, then he needed people to infiltrate other factions and even search the old ruins and the dangerous places where ordinary people wouldn’t dare to enter. All of that because who knew where he would find his answers?

He went to his room and dropped on the bed. His eyes naturally closed as he forgot about everything and focused on the comfortable feeling.

. . .

The next day, Ozul woke up late, and lazily made his way down the floor.

“Where are Raven and Blaze?” he asked after approaching the first person he saw on the 7th floor.

The man almost jumped out in surprise when he noticed who was asking him the question, but he tried his best to stop shaking and answered, “I... think they are at the training ground?”

‘... Oh. I almost forgot...’ Ozul thought as he remembered telling the duo to be there early in the morning. Looking out of the window, it was already around midday.

Thinking about that, he ordered the man who was sweating in his presence, “Find Irvin, tell him to meet me at the training ground.”

After saying that, Ozul walked away leaving the man running around everywhere desperately searching for Irvin.

Ozul arrived at the training ground and when he entered, his eyes quickly fell on the two people fighting in the middle.

‘Oh? They must have gotten bored...’ he thought while making his way to the closest seat.

The two weren’t using any magical spells, it was only physical combat so the two easily noticed his presence since the whole training ground was empty.

“Don’t stop. Continue,” Ozul said as he sensed Irvin making his way there as well.

Raven and Blaze nodded their head and went back to their punches and kicks; they weren’t using any other weapons.

“Young Master,” Irvin muttered while giving him a short and respectful bow.

“I had given you a task yesterday,” Ozul reminded with his eyes still on Raven and Blaze.

“Yes, Young Master. Since the time was so short, I had gotten help from the Ashin Family...” Irvin truthfully admitted.

Ozul didn’t mind it since only 1 day was indeed too short for everything. So he said, “It’s fine. Tell me everything.”

Irvin released an imaginary sigh of relief before he started explaining, “The good news is; they confirmed that whatever I had told you yesterday was indeed true.”

Ozul nodded his head, “Continue.” If he said good news, it meant there was a piece of bad news as well.

“The bad news is that it’s the extent of their knowledge as well... They said that things other than that are all baseless rumors. None of them can be believed...” Irvin said with a few pauses.

*Sigh...*

Ozul released another sigh when Jinx appeared out of nowhere and jumped on his lap. That at least distracted him a little as he ordered, “Alright. You can go...”

Irvin didn’t wait any longer and went back to the tower leaving only him as the spectator. Others didn’t dare to even enter the training ground after they found out who was inside.

‘There is no other way. I will just have to take the risk...’ Ozul decided that he would just have to do with whatever information he had right now and make a gamble.

For Ozul, there was only one silver lining in all of this mess. And that was also the formation that detected anyone who tried to trespass the Royal estate.

The defensive formations that attacked or prevented anyone from entering certain areas could not be kept activated all the time because all of them demanded heaps and piles of resources to keep them running.

That meant if he somehow managed to avoid the first formation that activated all the others, then he would have no problem at all.

‘If the case of that weak man trespassing their estate is as exactly as Irvin described, then it might work. If not... then I will just have to improvise,’ Ozul decided while looking at Jinx in his lap.

“Alright, stop you two...”
