Chapter 152 Hidden Seniors

\'\'Are you okay? \'\' Karan hurried over to Sami and asked.

\'\'I\'m okay. Just, man, women are scary,\'\' Sami uttered while placing his hand over his throat and glancing sideways at Pana. She was not the meanest woman he had ever met, contrary to what he had initially thought.

Pana ignored Sami\'s gaze as she approached, surveyed her surroundings, and inquired. \'\'Who was the person that helped us? Do you think he\'s still around? \'\'

With eager eyes, everyone searched for the source of the voice, but they were unable to locate him anywhere.

\'\'Do you think that person might be our master? Perhaps he came to help us and then left. \'\' One of the group\'s young members inquired. In his mind, there was only one person who could wield such immense power.

\'\'Are you an idiot? The voice had the tone of someone who was more senior. He can\'t be our master, but I do know who he was. \'\' Sami, who had recovered from the initial shock he had experienced some time ago, said cockily as he crossed his arms over his chest.

\'\'Hm? Then please enlighten us as to the identity of your savior. \'\' Karan questioned Sami, who was beaming with arrogance, with skepticism in his eyes.

Sami, realizing that everyone was waiting for him to speak, quietly congratulated himself on having accomplished his goal and said.

\'\'Of course, he is an apprentice of the master, just like us. You didn\'t think we were his only apprentices, did you?\'\'  Sami said, treating those around him as if they were a complete moron.

Everyone had been waiting for Sami to say something ridiculous again, but they stopped to consider whether or not these words made any sense. And, it did not take long for them to believe what he said.

\'\'Wow, master has such a strong apprentice, huh? Well, when you think about it, it\'s actually quite normal. \'\' One of the youths spoke up, picturing Raydon\'s power, which he had never witnessed before.

\'\'So this person is probably out there somewhere guarding the master\'s house and only appears when needed? \'\'  Another young man chimed in, his eyes shining.

It occurred to him that this same person had been present during the first shadow messenger incident, but that they hadn\'t shown up because Raydon\'s name had already been used to solve the case.

\'\'Naturally. There are almost certainly more out there, and they are probably not making themselves known to us because we are not yet good enough to meet them. \'\' Sami sighed.

Upon hearing these words from Sami, everyone\'s excitement multiplied dramatically. The effects of this had a profound effect on everyone, and as a result, everyone was thinking exactly the same thing. \'Damn, our seniors are so strong. As expected from the master. \'

\'\'Thank you, senior, for defending our master\'s home and us,\'\' Sami suddenly bowed in a random direction and said in a respectful way.

After observing Sami\'s actions, the others began to imitate him and expressed gratitude to their imaginary seniors because they once again believed his bullshit wholeheartedly.

\'\'Thank you, senior, for defending our master\'s home and us.\'\'

..

\'\'Thank you, senior, for defending our master\'s home and us.\'\'

.

\'\'Thank you, senior, for defending our master\'s home and us.\'\'

There wasn\'t much time before they were joined by Karan, Pana, and even Dan. The fact that they had such formidable seniors and that they, too, were Raydon\'s apprentices filled them with pride and joy.

And they swore that one day they would be strong enough to be able to meet them.

While Dan and his group were greeting their made-up seniors, a charismatic man with white hair and a white beard stood on the roof of a house far away from them and looked at the clouds moving by.

\'\'It appears that Raydon\'s family was not the reason he did not stop by the shop. But it turns out that I was right, and his family sent a battle maid to bring him back, \'\' Fang murmured, recalling events from some time ago.

The reason he came here was to figure out why Raydon hadn\'t visited him, and when he stumbled upon Tika, he knew the reason wasn\'t related to his family.

\'\'It also appears that that high-rank item holder is not present. I believe they went somewhere together,\'\' Fang speculated.

While he was here, he wanted to meet with that person if possible, but he was unable to do so. He also aided Dan and the others because, despite how insignificant it may have been, he wanted to express his goodwill to that high rank.

\'\'But that young lady must be incredibly dimwitted. Even if she was sent here on the orders of her family, it is still unacceptable for her to attack the apprentices of a powerful item holder. She would have been killed by now if I hadn\'t intervened, \'\' Fang reflected.

He saved the life of the Demugen family\'s battle maid, which was a favor not only to the high-ranking item holder but also to the Demugen family.

Tika wasn\'t completely stupid, either; she mistook Dan and the others for servants rather than apprentices and naively assumed a powerful figure of that high rank wouldn\'t hold her responsible for the deaths of commoners.

\'\'However, I suppose I can return and wait a few more days. If his family gets involved in this process, I will have to go talk to them. \'\' With a sigh, Fang said. He just wanted Raydon to help him with his task. Therefore, it was irrelevant with whom he had to collaborate in order to gain his support.

In a desolate, dark dimension where not even the sound of the wind could be heard, Raydon was yelling nervously into the void as the string of unannounced misunderstandings continued behind him.

\'\'What the heck is this, a joke? If I can\'t make the most of these three days, then why the hell was I given them in the first place? \'\'
