Chapter 501 Tragic Lovers, Part 6
\'How many days went by?\' Lee Seng thought as he was chained up against the wall. They had thrown him into the cell, god knows when, and strapped him with these strong dampeners. He felt no surge of energy and couldn\'t get adequate rest to restore his strength. They always seemed to come in just as he fell asleep. Just as soon as his body mended itself.
Lee Seng tiredly bobbed his head. He didn\'t want to fall asleep. He couldn\'t afford to. They would just come in and ruin him again. They would torture him, again. He groaned as blood dripped down his bloodied body.
\'Torture me. Heal myself. Fall asleep. Repeat.\' Lee Seng tiredly thought. \'And get caked with blood…\'
"I just… WANNA SLEEP!" Lee Seng screamed. He pulled the chains forward, knowing perfectly well that they wouldn\'t go far. Under literally any circumstance, other than this one, he would\'ve gotten out with a flick of his wrist. They had physically and mentally exhausted him. He groaned as he hit his head onto the wall. He was jagged enough that enough head bashing would cause him to bleed.
Lee Seng hung in the air and stared at the blood puddle directly below him. His eyes grew heavy, again and he started to nod off to sleep.
"Ugh, what do you have dying down here?" Eleven asked as three Biohumans led them down the long flight of stairs. The Biohumans didn\'t say anything. They continued to lead them down. Cesar was uninterested. They eventually went down to a man-made dug out hole. It quickly became even more rotten and earthy as Eleven pinched his nose. The three stood near a door, one opening it and motioning Cesar and Eleven in.
"He\'s in here, Master." Lackey One motioned.
"Thank you. You may stay out here." Cesar ordered. The three lackeys saluted as Cesar led the way in. Eleven glanced at the lackeys, getting strange looks as he passed.
\'Why\'re they looking at me like that?\' Eleven wondered. The door closed behind him as Cesar continued downwards.
"What is this place?" Eleven asked.
"So you weren\'t paying attention to what I was saying?" Cesar asked.
"I heard you." Eleven replied. "Not at all what I had in mind. A dungeon carved from the earth in a skyscraper building. It\'s odd." His voice carried through the echo-y cell dungeon.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Cesar came to a stop, turning left. He looked into cell. Eleven turned and feasted his eyes on a very familiar person. It was him hung high up. Blood slowly dripped into a pool of blood as a tired Lee Seng didn\'t even look in their direction.
"How fortunate." Cesar said unamused. "It seems this one bears a mask."
"A fox mask?" Eleven spoke aloud. Lee Seng lifted his head and noticed him. It was himself standing there, but it wasn\'t… "Who\'s this weirdo? Why\'re we here for \'em, Cesar?"
"Why are we here for them?" Cesar repeated the question. "Cause this one slaughter over fifteen Biohumans." He pointed up at Lee Seng.
"Fifteen?" Eleven repeated impressed.
"We\'ll convert him to one of us." Cesar continued. "Whether he wants it or not."
"Fuck off." Lee Seng weakly shouted. Eleven turned his attention, not recognizing his own host\'s voice. "I don\'t need another headache."
"Oho!" Cesar smiled. "Someone as strong as you should reconsider. Well, like I said, not like you have an option." Cesar tapped the bar as Eleven stuck his face in between the bars. He looked up at the Fox mask guy.
"How old are you? Are you around my age?" Eleven asked. "I could use someone interesting to train with."
"I\'m not interested." Lee Seng shouted. He pulled the chain, trying to break out of it as Eleven erupted in laughter.
"You can\'t even get out of it! Hahah!" Eleven pointed. "Someone as weak as you might as well get converted. Maybe you\'ll pull the chains off with ease!" Lee Seng\'s jaw tightened as he yanked again. The chains tightened as the dampeners glowed brighter.
"Eleven." Cesar spoke. Keeping his eyes on Lee Seng.
"Hahahah! You can\'t get out!" Eleven chuckled.
"Eleven!"
"What?" Eleven turned to look at Cesar.
"Remember your task?" Cesar raised an eyebrow.
"Awh, come on! I\'ll do it after you play with him! I wanna see it!"
"No. Find the rat." Cesar ordered. Eleven sighed and turned.
"Fine. I don\'t want you to be on my ass, again." Eleven mumbled. His eyes went up to Lee Seng as he gave a childish wave at him. "Bye! Hope to see you soon!" Cesar watched Eleven leave, door shutting loudly behind him, before he turned his full attention onto him.
"Hmm." Cesar watched with little to no emotion in his voice or face. "You must be Eleven\'s… Host… Lee Seng Chang, correct?" Lee Seng\'s tiredness disappeared as Cesar spoke those words.
"How do you—" Lee Seng began to speak when Cesar shook his head.
"Your scents are similar." Cesar interrupted. "It seems Eleven isn\'t as smart nor perceptive like his human self either. Tch, such a stupid straight forward boy."
"Then you probably know trying to convert me won\'t end well when I already have stupid." Lee Seng motioned with his head towards the general direction Eleven left.
"But killing you would make Eleven so much stronger. And not bound to your ridiculous and mundane life."
"What do you mean?"
"Do I have to spell it out for you? I take it back, you\'re just as stupid as him." Cesar motioned. He stepped towards the bars and moved through it like the bars weren\'t there. Cesar looked straight up at Lee Seng with curious eyes. "I try to convert you and… If it works, we have two of you. If you die from the conversion, Eleven grows even more powerful. It\'s a win-win situation for us." Cesar shrugged.
"Argh!" Lee Seng pulled the chain. The rough earth behind him shifted, dust falling. Cesar stood in his spot, unamused at what just happened. He shook his head.
"I guess they\'re right about something. A Deimon will always have their Host in some shape or form."
"Fuck you!" Lee Seng tugged again, chain loosening. Lee Seng yanked with all of his might, shattering the chains as he flew straight for Cesar. Cesar blinked and Lee Seng flew through him and onto the ground. Cesar let out a cold breath as he stepped out of the cell. Lee Seng\'s body began to freeze as Cesar clicked his tongue.
"You shouldn\'t have done that, human." Cesar shook his head. "Cool off for a bit. Maybe you\'ll accept my proposal when you\'re nICE." Cesar waved as Lee Seng turned into complete ice. "You\'ll need it."
Eleven threw the double doors open as wind pushed past him. He caught the attention of the many guards around this area as he looked around.
"Hey, you!" A guard shouted. Eleven turned and watched as the guard came up to him and grabbed him. "What\'re you doing out here?" In one motion, Eleven had overpowered the guard and twisted his arm. A scream erupted from the guards mouth as the others pulled their weapons on him. A force held them in place as Eleven let out a sigh and continued onwards.
"I\'m on Deimon business, losers." Eleven told them. "Don\'t get in my way. I gotta find someone." An after image of \'stars\' replaced where Eleven stood as he showed up fifty feet away. Eleven looked around the small cleared city. People gave him weird looks as he scanned the area. "Rat, rat, where are you?"
"Bingo." Eleven pointed. "Straight to the smelly cheese." Eleven blinked and appeared in a dark room. His eyes glowed bright purple as he scanned the area. Eleven noticed the room was trashy and empty. "You were just here… Who told you I was coming?"
"Argh!" A voice screamed. A blast of wind shoved Eleven backwards, slamming into the wall. "You Deimon bastard! You can\'t have me!" The person darted forward, wind rippling around the knife they held. The knife flew straight for Eleven\'s heart. In a single blink, Eleven disappeared, knife moving through air as the person\'s eyes grew wide.
Eleven appeared behind the person, karate chopping their back. The person slammed down onto the ground, bouncing upwards as air escaped their lungs. A strange energy wrapped around the person, slowly turning them around as gravity pressed into their body.
"I wish we could have more fun, but the Queen needs you and I can\'t kill anyone without permission… How boring." Eleven frowned. The person in front of him was a teenage girl, maybe fourteen or fifteen. She looked dirtied and the fear radiating off of her made Eleven want to kill her even more. He flicked his wrist as the curtains all opened. The door flew open as he dragged the girl out. She tried to scream as Eleven got strange looks from the few people who heard the ruckus.
"Cesaarrr~~~" Eleven shouted. "I got her!"
