[Your physique has transformed to its original form. Cristian/ Vladimir Athelstone, you have been reborn. THE MOTHER has fulfilled her promise.

Class: Dark berserker: skills unknown, path; unknown… Rating: Transcendent!: 100%]

"What the..." Cristian blinked repeatedly to confirm his eyes weren\'t playing tricks on him.

The shock came from every side - race, class, and stats. It felt like he had shed his previous form and emerged from ash dust. That seemed to be the case.

This revelation meant his constitution wasn\'t an illness. Perhaps that\'s why his case was so different from others. But "Dark Huma"? What kind of race was that? His strength stat made him suck in a good amount of cold air.

"THE MOTHER\'s promise... I wonder what that was," he mused, folding his palms abruptly, the speed making the air around his palm distort. The power coursing through his veins was strange. He felt powerful but something deep inside him hadn\'t been released.

He found that something when he read the text, stating his locked abilities because a level 0 could not utilize any skills or abilities. His compatibility had ascended, making him a perfect fit for a class. Unknown to Cristian, no one had this class, and there wasn\'t any existing race called the Dark Huma.

Suddenly, moans and growls pierced his eardrums. His eyes flashed with caution as something he would come to abhor occurred.

[The safe zone has reached its end. THE MOTHER\'s last gift is gone. Hope you survive, Dark Huma, and be ready to meet the Aboriginals from your world.]

"Other people? So, I wasn\'t the only one to transmigrate. This is kind of good," Cristian said with a smile. However, he spotted a scroll near the altar. It was well-hidden, but the blueglow from the seal revealed its position.

He grabbed the scroll with amazement. The seal shone brightly and shattered. Now that nothing stopped him, Cristian opened the scroll, and two bold words appeared.

VLAD, RUN!

He frowned, but those words struck his mind hard when the fog cleared, revealing people from Earth.

"It can\'t be." Cristian muttered in disbelief, his wide eyes taking in the scene.

Hundreds of zombies, mindless, made their way toward him. Their skin was paler than his, and their eyes were also white. Most of them had blood-coated mouths with missing flesh or bite marks. Cristian even spotted some crawling towards him as they had lost their legs.

With the fog gone, he realized he stood in a lush forest. Tall trees with generous spacing and lustrous grasses covered the ground, creating a picture of perfection. The beautiful moon added to the scene\'s charm, but it was marred by bloodstains on the trees and grass.

His eyes widened as he surveyed the environment. A massive battle had occurred here, and the result was the zombies before him. This meant he wasn\'t the only one to appear here, and he had been protected, but others hadn\'t been so fortunate.

The air in Eternity flowed with mana, and many humans couldn\'t adjust, forcing their race to change to the infamous undead. The few who had turned into zombies jumped on the others, who were still stunned as they sat in their homes moments ago.

The powerless crowd panicked, and a feast began. Each bitten victim awakened as an undead and quickly joined the attack. In a matter of minutes, chaos erupted, and men, women, and children ran for their lives.

However, they faced a race with unlimited stamina, and thousands perished, only to be blessed by \'a being\' that gave them another chance at life as the undead.

Cristian\'s scream attracted them. The cleared fog made him more vulnerable as hundreds, even thousands of undead, who harbored a deep hatred for the living, made their way toward him.

"This is an apocalypse." His voice cracked, and his pale face turned paler. Cristian had just realized how ruthless this new world was. There was no mercy, not even for new races.

They would have to fight their way out, and he doubted many survived.

[Dark Huma, the map option has been unlocked]

Another text appeared on his retina. He quickly entered the map option, and his location enlarged, providing a clear view of the forest\'s size. But the name drew his attention.

"Sacrifice Forest?" Cristian mused with raised brows, and suddenly it hit him.

The people here had all suffered terrible luck by being sent to such an unfavorable location. This also meant that some had appeared in more favorable spots, where they got a good start, while others met their death moments after arrival. Some might have even faced dangerous beasts.

He turned toward the south; it was the only safe path leading somewhere.

While he considered ways to escape the slow-moving horde of undead, he squeezed the animal skin, and the scroll glowed for a split second before the words changed.

"Head to the portal, Lia should know of our presence by now." The scroll swiftly decayed and, in shock, he left it. Before the animal skin reached the brown soil, it turned to dust.

\'A portal, nice planning. Lia, who\'s she?\' He commended his former self\'s thoughts, but the name of the female confused him. Cristian had already realized that he must have died here and reincarnated on Earth. The clues were glaring, but he had no memories of his past life, and his death remained a mystery.

Did he die of old age, or was he killed? He couldn\'t figure it out. But one thing was certain: Vladimir, his former self, knew he was going to be back and even knew where.

But why the Sacrifice Forest? Wouldn\'t it be better for him to do it at his castle? He shook his head, clearing his thoughts. The direction to the portal had appeared, and it also lay in the south.

Suddenly, he heard a growl and instinctively bolted forward. His speed made the cold breeze pick up, and the dead grasses rose. He made an abrupt stop and turned. "Damn, I almost got bitten," he cursed himself for his carelessness.

This wasn\'t the time to dwell on Vladimir\'s actions. Evading the trees, he ran in the opposite direction - south. The horde came from the north, and the combined sounds of their spine-tingling growls made his muscles tense.

He almost vomited from the disgusting smell of dried blood and gut revealed by the zombies\' damaged bodies. "I thought there was supposed to be a village or something," he hollered internally, feeling like hitting his head against a thick tree for taking everything lightly. He couldn\'t be blamed for a situation that was supposed to occur only in novels.

The wind blasting against his face made him feel alive. It had been a long time since he felt this light. His longing for such flexibility had eroded with time, but now, he was even more dexterous than he had ever been.

He turned and saw the gap he had created. The slow-walking zombies stood no chance against him, who could run four times faster than an average human.

A smile graced his lips, but just as he was about to ignore the horde, six thin zombies shot out and bolted toward him. Their speed was even faster than his.

"Are you kidding me?" Cristian yelled and decided to save his energy for running. More thin zombies emerged, their bones almost sticking out, hollow, completely black eyes, and feet like steel. Claws, five inches long, tore the air as they waved their arms.

"Shit, I can\'t outrun these things!" he cursed but kept running. He had considered climbing the trees, but what if the horde had climbers too?

He scanned his status, but there was nothing that offered solace or help. The deep thuds of their feet rang in his ears as the zombies closed the gap.

[Lord Athelstone, you are advised not to level up until you reach your castle.]

"Bullshit, I will not be killed, not by zombies or anyone," Cristian yelled and took a step to the side. He grabbed the zombie behind him and slammed it into a tree trunk. BAM!

[You have killed a level 3 undead +2 agility; you have leveled up.]

Along with the text, a tremor occurred.
