Chapter 55 Devouring Xia Xiaomei

Chapter 55 Devouring Xia Xiaomei

“No. It won’t work between us. And I already have a girlfriend whom I love very much. That’s why it’s best if you put on some clothes right now,” Wang Feng said with a shake of his head. Not once did he turn his head around to look at Xia Xiaomei.

As tempting as the naked body before his eyes was, Wang Feng knew deep down that right now, the only person he loved was Sister Xue. He had no desire of doing anything that might hurt Sister Xue.

All of a sudden, Xia Xiaomei’s voice sounded beside Wang Feng’s ear. “It won’t work between us, you said? Then why are you already reacting to me down there?” She crooned. Wang Feng’s body instantly went taut.

“Don’t worry. I won’t try to snatch you away from your girlfriend. And I won’t ask you to take any responsibility for me at all.” Beside his ear, Xia Xiaomei’s voice sounded continuously, causing Wang Feng’s heart and resolve to weaken.

“Come on. I’m all yours tonight,” Xia Xiaomei said. Her voice was sultry and filled with endless temptation. Hearing those words, Wang Feng felt as if something had struck his skull. After that, he picked up Xia Xiaomei and walked towards the bedroom.

Things had gotten this far already, he would not consider himself a man if he did not act.

Before he came out tonight, he had been tempted by Bei Yunxue; he was already in a state of sexual frustration without a means of release. Right now, Xia Xiaomei had offered herself to him.

He threw Xia Xiaomei onto the bed unceremoniously. Wang Feng let himself go fully.

Amid the pitch darkness of the night, the room was filled with endless sounds of pants and gasps. After half an hour, the two of them separated from each other.

“Is it worth it?”

Glancing down at Xia Xiaomei in his arms, a wry smile formed on Wang Feng’s face. Sure, it had felt good. But when he thought about the fact that Xia Xiaomei had been a virgin, he felt his mind overwhelmed by a barrage of chaotic thoughts.

Had he known that Xia Xiaomei was still a clueless and inexperienced little girl, he would not have acted so rashly. He had really screwed up this time.

“You don’t have to say anything. I volunteered,” Xia Xiaomei said quietly without raising her head from his chest.

“But I already have a girlfriend. I can’t leave her,” Wang Feng said. Deep inside his heart, he felt slightly agonized. He would never let go of Bei Yunxue. Unless it was Bei Yunxue herself who chose to leave him first.

Still, right now he had taken Xia Xiaomei’s virginity, and that was no doubt going to be a tough nut to crack.

“You don’t have to leave your girlfriend. I won’t ask that of you. I just want to own a small place in your heart. I’m satisfied with just that,” Xia Xiaomei said, and then snuggled her head further into Wang Feng’s chest.

What else could Wang Feng say to that? Well, he supposed the only thing he could say was that this girl, Xia Xiaomei, was too naive.

He slept through the night with Xia Xiaomei in his arms. As dictated by his biological clock, Wang Feng woke up very early the next day. Xia Xiaomei was still fast asleep in his arm. With her lips curved upwards, she looked very adorable.

When Wang Feng pushed the covers aside and saw the red patch staining the sheets, those chaotic thoughts flooded back into his mind once again. How the hell was he going to explain this to Sister Xue?

Wang Feng left the hotel without waking Xia Xiaomei. He managed to get back to No.1 Zhu Cheng, though he had no idea how. Opening the door, he noticed that Bei Yunxue already had breakfast prepared. Bei Yunxue herself was sitting on the couch, watching TV.

Watching Bei Yunxue from where he stood, he felt a surge of heartwarming tenderness. But at the same time, he also felt a pang of guilt. They had just confirmed the status of their relationship, and yet he had already had a woman outside. Was he even human?

“Oh, you’re back?” Bei Yunxue smiled and stood up from the couch when she noticed Wang Feng. “Let’s have breakfast. The food has nearly gone cold.”

From the way she was acting, she seemed to have no plans in asking where Wang Feng had been off to last night.

“Sister Xue, why didn’t you ask where I went last night?” Wang Feng asked her warily.

“Hm?” Bei Yunxue turned around at Wang Feng’s comment. Then she looked at Wang Feng suspiciously. “Could it be that you were conducting some shady business last night?”

Seeing that Bei Yunxue was about to continue her line of questioning, Wang Feng quickly shook his head. “No. How can that be?” Wang Feng said in a stern and righteous tone. “My big brother’s got his heart broken last night. He was in a bad mood, so he asked me out for a drink. We’ve been drinking a lot, and after that I was worried that he might do something stupid and get himself into trouble, so I spent the night at his house.”

Yeah, right. As if Wang Feng could bring himself to tell her the truth about last night. That was why he had dragged his big brother into this hellhole of a situation without even the slightest bit of hesitation.

“Oh, big bro. Your little brother isn’t betraying you. It’s just that I really need your help this time,” Wang Feng thought.

“Well, since nothing is wrong then hurry up and have some breakfast. I’m guessing we’ll be having good business today after the interview yesterday. So we’ll have to head to the jewelry shop soon,” Bei Yunxue said before sitting down to start eating breakfast.

Seeing that Bei Yunxue had no plans to question him further, Wang Feng felt his heart ease slowly. He sat down and joined Bei Yunxue for breakfast.

“By the way, Sister Xue. Do you know a guy called Meng Dongxue?” Wang Feng asked in an affectedly nonchalant tone.

“Yeah, I know him. Why? Is he causing you trouble?” Bei Yunxue gave Wang Feng a strange look.

Wang Feng shook his head. “No. That’s the guy who had stolen my big brother’s girlfriend from him. It’s detestable,” Wang Feng said, once again dragging Gu Ping into this hellhole.

“It’s not going to be a problem. He’s just a VP of a small real-estate firm. You don’t have to worry,” Bei Yunxue commented. It seemed that Bei Yunxue did not see Meng Dongxue as a threat at all, which brought Wang Feng no less relief.

After breakfast, the two of them rushed towards the jewelry store. It was just as Bei Yunxue had predicted; after yesterday’s news coverage, the number of visitors at the store had reached a new peak today. From morning till night, the flow of incoming customers never once broke. If any more customers stepped into the store, the door threshold might actually break.

By the end of the business hour, the few employees in the store were so exhausted that they could barely remain upright. Still, the store had reaped considerable profits today; they had earned thrice as much as yesterday, something which brought a series of cheers among the store employees.

After dinner, Wang Feng and Bei Yunxue decided to head straight home. But before Wang Feng could get into the car, his phone rang.

Wang Feng picked up the call immediately after a brief glance at the caller ID. He did not speak. A moment later, he hung up with a dark look on his face.

“What’s wrong?” Bei Yunxue asked. She had sensed that something must have happened based on the look on Wang Feng’s face.

“It’s nothing. Sister Xue, why don’t you head home on your own first. I’ve got some matters to take care of. Don’t wait up for me,” Wang Feng said before turning around to walk away. Soon, Wang Feng’s figure vanished from Bei Yunxue’s sight completely.

The person who had called him was He Tian. What He Tian told him had filled Wang Feng’s heart with murderous intent; they had already tracked down the hideout of the ones responsible for the attempted robbery at Bei Enterprise Jewelry Shop last time.

If He Tian did not call him, Wang Feng might have actually forgotten all about the incident. He and Bei Yunxue had nearly lost their lives because of that incident. That was why he would not hold anything back when he dealt with the person behind that incident. He would destroy the person if possible. Wang Feng’s philosophy had always been “stay out of my way, and I’ll stay out of yours”. He did not intend to cause anyone trouble, though he would not be afraid to act against those looking to bring trouble to his doorsteps.

This time, the robbers had targetted Bei Enterprise Jewelry Shop. Wang Feng would not let them go.

Wang Feng hailed a cab and soon arrived at Xin Yang Building’s entrance. He Tian had been awaiting his arrival for quite a while. He already had everything prepared.

More than ten black sedans were neatly parked there. Before each sedan stood a bunch of henchmen who wore black outfits. They looked intimidating and discernible in the darkness of the night.

The cab driver who had driven Wang Feng here was so frightened at the sight that he drove off without even collecting the fare from Wang Feng.

Wang Feng frowned slightly when he saw the scene before him, though he did not comment much. “How many people on their side?” He asked instead. In truth, he did not wish to have anything to do with these people from the underworld.

But since these guys were all under He Tian, Wang Feng could not say much. Could he really tell He Tian that he did not need any help whatsoever?

“Preliminary estimation says five. But we don’t know how many more they’ve got hidden,” He Tian said, putting out the cigarette in his hand. He looked completely like a mob boss right now.

“Won’t these guys just get in the way?” Wang Feng’s eyes swept across his surroundings as he looked over the men dressed in black.

“Don’t worry, man. I’ve hand-picked these people. Although their skills are not a match for you and me, they aren’t guys that any ordinary people can match,” He Tian said. Wang Feng was instantly reassured.

It was about quality more than quantity. If they brought a bunch of undisciplined amateurs, then they might as well be carrying out the entire operation with just the two of them.

“Let’s go. We’ll talk more about it in the car,” He Tian said as he entered the private Bentley.

Behind him, Wang Feng got on the Bentley without hesitation.

“Why didn’t the Master join in the operation? If he did, then I think the three of us could take care of the job.” Wang Feng asked casually when they were in the Bentley.

“Brother, someone with the Master’s status will never take part in something like this. If we can’t even deal with trivial matters like this, then I’m afraid we’ll just be bringing shame to the old man’s name. This time, not only will he stand by and do absolutely nothing, but he will also use this as an opportunity to test us,” He Tian said with a wry smile.

“Then it’s not going to be a problem,” Wang Feng said, nodding. He said nothing else after that.

Wang Feng had no idea just how much power Gui Jianchou had. But if even the Chief Minister had come to him for help, then it was definitely reasonable for him to not bother himself with such trivial matters.

If he did, then it would be complete overkill, like slaughtering a chicken using a knife meant to slaughter a bull. Surely, the Master would not degrade himself like this.

More than ten sedans, led by the Bentley, travelled down the streets. It was an impressive sight. Throughout the entire journey, most drivers on the streets had decided to stay away from the cavalcade. They were secretly guessing the identities of the people in the cars. Who were these people? Why make such a grand display?

The people they were targeted were not staying inside the city. Instead, they had taken up base in an abandoned plastic factory in the outskirts of the city. The Bentley stopped before they even arrived at the factory.

“We’ll go on foot from here so that we don’t alert them of our arrival,” He Tian said as he got out the car.

Wang Feng understood the reasoning behind that too. Getting out of the car, he followed closely behind He Tian.
