Chapter 6135: Unforgivable

Chapter 6135: Unforgivable

“I’m suspicious. Well, I suppose I can’t compare to you, two generations of ghosts.” The man retorted with a smile.

“Either way, you like this place and treat it as home, I appreciate that.” Water Emissary jumped in.

“Gentlemen, I apologize for rarely visiting anyone. It’s just my preference.” Nameless Emissary cupped his fist toward the four.

Among them, he had the least semblance of a ghost while Devil Emissary was full of ghost energy.

“Why didn’t you just stay a human? It wasn’t your fault.” The bald old man said.

“The mortal world is boring, being a ghost here isn’t bad at all.” Nameless said.

“You’re not a ghost, the ghost is gone.” Devil uttered coldly.

“No, he’s a ghost, just a suspicious one.” Fog said.

“As long as he views this place as home, he’s a good ghost.” Water enthusiastically said: “Our major market needs ghosts like him who know how to enjoy themselves and get along with others.”

“That’s precisely what I want.” Nameless smiled.

“What a waste.” The old man glared at him: “Time is precious yet you choose to bury yourself and your talent here. How unambitious.”

“Senior, I’ve thought about it carefully, and where else can I go now that I’m a ghost?” Nameless said.

“Woman.” Devil uttered a single word; his voice always had a creepy and grating effect on listeners even when he harbored no ill will.

“Brother, must you be so hurtful? A ghost shouldn’t be rude to another.” Nameless protested.

“You can stay here and suffer then.” The old man patted his shoulder.

“It’s not bad at all, we might not have the real sun but we have each other, right?” Nameless smiled.

“Haha, that’s right, no suffering here at all. We’ll have a drink later.” Water supported his choice.

“Became a ghost for someone else, unprecedented.” Fog murmured.

“Not unprecedented, the right word of choice is the lack of self-respect.” The old man didn’t hold back.

Other ghosts often exercised civility but his tongue was always vile. He might be the oldest ghost and potentially the strongest. Some speculated that he could control the entire market.

Nameless had an awkward smile but didn’t respond.

“How much longer could the person live? And who would remember you? No different from a dog.” The old man continued.

“Senior, as long as I was willing, being remembered doesn’t matter, I don’t mind.” Nameless said.

“I see, no self-respect indeed.” Fog nodded.

“It’s fine, it’s fine, it happened and brought us here together.” Water said: “This is fate, and it’s a good one, probably better than if you had stayed a living person. Just enjoy yourself here and don’t worry about anything else.”

“Well said.” Nameless agreed.

“I suppose an abandoned dog still has the right to be happy.” The old man was still unhappy. He was indifferent toward everyone else, just not Nameless.

“...” Nameless had no response.

“He did get dumped.” Fog added.

“Okay, okay, let’s stop here, I can’t handle anymore.” Nameless raised his hands and surrendered.

“Unforgivable, what a waste of your fortune.” The old man said.

“Negative karma.” Devil said something worth contemplating.

However, this earned him a glare from the old man - enough to make him shudder in fear.

“So what’s the deal between you two?” Water asked the old man and Nameless.

“Nothing.” Nameless shook his head.

“Then we can get started, summon Ghost Monarch Temple.” Li Qiye finally jumped in.

The five ghost emissaries exchanged glances and took out their sigil at the same time. The sigils were different but could be assembled into a single rune.

It floated in the center of the dao platform and released bright rays. The ghosts posed in different spots and chanted in unison.

“Buzz.” The dao platform lit up and became covered in runes.

The main one’s rays melted the runes below, changing them into flowing light as well. Once the platform was covered entirely, a beam shot upward to hit the heavenly gate above.

“Open!” They yelled and the platform gradually split apart, revealing something like a mirror with the reflection of a blue sky.

“RIght here.” The old man told Li Qiye.

Li Qiye jumped in and they followed him.

Meanwhile, emperors and desolate gods watching from a distance didn’t dare to tag along.

“What is that place?” A desolate god asked.

“I think it’s Ghost Monarch Temple, but no one had visited it before. It should be the source of the market, controlling it means controlling the market.” An emperor said.

“Then they could control all the ghosts then, seize all the treasures here.” Someone had a strange thought.

“Anyone capable of this feat wouldn’t care about treasures then.” The emperor uttered coldly.

Others agreed with his logic.
