Chapter 168: Your Death Will Not Be So Easy
Following such an action was the flooding of Azmond\'s vision with pop-up screens.
*Ding!* *Experience +2000*
*Ding!* *Experience +200*
*Ding!* *Experience +600*
*Ding!-*...
*Ding!* *You have leveled up!*
*Ding!- Yo-*...
....
Tens of thousands of goblins had died in such a simple movement made by Azmond, as he observed the seemingly unlimited number of notification pop-ups envelope his vision.
"..."
He would normally be in quite the merry mood upon gaining so many pop-ups; however, these Goblins Ancestors soured his mood to such a degree that he didn\'t even feel like looking at the pop-ups right now. All he wanted to do was torture these two clowns to death.
How dare they entertain the idea of even touching a single hair on Crystalline\'s head?!?!?
It was unacceptable
And they would die for such ignorance.
.....
"?!?"
GrimSoul was left confounded over every single word that came out of this worm\'s mouth. What was he even talking about?!? Experience?? Destroying his city???
Why was he talking about such topics like a man who had gone insane?
"Enough." He discarded all useless thoughts as he looked the human down like a dead man walking.
"You will die, human. I will make sure of that myself." He stated with repressed rage.
He couldn\'t allow himself to get caught up in the moment and get flung away like his brother was.
RUMBLE!!!
A loud rumbling boomed outward from thousands of miles away as a decrepit green figure began to make his way out of the mountain he was launched into.
BOOOooOoOOMM!
The entire mountain range he landed near was completely evaporated as the aged-green figure fully emerged from the debris. His enraged voice bellowed out not even a millisecond later, "YOU DAMN HUMMMAANN!!!!!!"
The eruption of his archaic voice caused even the trees and grass between him and Azmond to part ways!
"..." Azmond looked on impassively at the latecomer, as he couldn\'t even bother to act surprised over his reappearance.
He knew that such a weak move would never be able to fully eradicate an existence like himan existence that had probably already been in the Void Refining Realm for hundreds of years. But it wasn\'t like his reemergence would change anything.
He would die all the same.
He just got the privilege of being able to stay alive a little longer.
...
The other Goblin Ancestor\'s blazing aura shot toward Azmond\'s distant figure at speeds far surpassing the speed of sound!
His slightly battered and aged frame appeared in front of Azmond in but the blink of an eye. His crazed voice sounded out not long after: "DIE HUMAN!!!!" He exploded at the top of his lungs!
A dark, malicious energy congregated around his claw-like hands as he conjured up a spella spell that consumed Azmond\'s vision upon its release. In fact, the entire sky was blotted out from such an insane release of energy.
The heavens seemed to melt and crumble as the heat emanating from such a strike was beyond anything known on Earth.
WAAAA!!!!
It expanded and enveloped!
"What a gaudy move." Azmond began with a nonchalant expression. "Gaudy. And useless." He spoke before a swipe of the hand holding his blade came crashing down.
WOOOOMMM!!!!
The layer of space that lay between the two of them immediately collapsed as the immense amount of energy being wantonly released by the Goblin Ancestor was dispersed in an instant.
Azmond\'s attack didn\'t just stop there; the simple swiping motion he made honed in on the bewildered figure of the Goblin Ancestor.
"W-What?? H-How can this be?!? I put everything into that attack!!! How could it be dispersed as easily as that?!?!?!" He freaked out and began to summon up every ounce of remaining strength he had, in an attempt to thwart the impending strike of Azmond.
WAAAA!!
He summoned hundreds of layers of protective Qi barriers!
"You will die." Azmond began, his face bereft of emotion. "Not because you weren\'t strong enough..." His tone started to get colder.
"You will die, because you got lost in your own recklessness." His indifferent words slithered into his ears like a death sentence.
A look of realization came over the struggling Goblin Ancestor. Energies were flying and clashing all over the skies as repeated grudges hit him like the final straw.
RUMBLE!!!! The skies and the earth collapsed in on themselves!
\'I was reckless, huh? ... I have lived for thousands of years, and now I get lectured by a boy still in diapers, telling me that I was too reckless? isn\'t that a little too hypocritical coming from a mere Half-Step Void Refining Realm going against two Void Refining Realm Cultivators???\'
**SLICE**
His thoughts, full of unacceptance and repudiation, faded out of existence as his body split into two pieces. However, it wasn\'t just his body that split into two, as his body, soul, Nascent Soul, and Essence soul all split into two separate pieces.
His entire existence had been split into two pieces
BOOOooOOOMM!!
The ongoing energies produced from such an attack hit the earth with a seemingly unlimited amount of power as the earth split into two, stretching on for an untold number of miles.
*Ding!* *Experience + 3,000,000,000*
*Ding! Y-*...
Notifications continued to sound off inside his head as he became significantly stronger in the middle of a battle.
"..." He looked at the destruction that ensued because of him before turning his gaze to the other Goblin Ancestor called GrimSoul.
"He died an easy death." He stated before his cold words continued. "Your death will not be so easy."
"?!?" His voice leaked out in an eerie tone, a tone that caused goosebumps to form on GrimSoul\'s back.
"Let us resume our fight, GrimSoul. I am looking forward to how you manage to prolong your inevitable death." He spoke such arrogant words with a cruel smile creeping up his face.
