Chapter 2443: Torn Apart

Chapter 2443: Torn Apart

“GO! GO NOW!” To Lin Yun’s despair, he continued moving backward. The fatal power was exerting its might on every astron of his. It was even more horrifying than order.

He shrieked and made the mistake of looking back. At that moment, his tongue was pulled straight.

Everyone watched in a daze and fear as Lin Yun’s body began breaking down. It would have been a lot more gruesome if his astrons weren’t all glowing green.

Finally, his tongue was pulled out by the root and shot into the black star’s hexagonal aperture.

The Lin Clan members watching all cried out in surprise. Everyone knew that Lin Yun liked to run his mouth a lot. It seemed like karma for his tongue to be the first to go.

Lin Yun’s struggle became more frantic. However, he lost his hair next, as each strand was forcefully pulled out as well. His eyes then followed. Those were the body parts most easily lost and they vanished into the black star.

“Ahhh…. AHHHHH! Lin Jie, Tianxi, save me!” The old man could no longer hold on. A single moment of faltering was enough for him to be sucked into the black star. The moment before he vanished inside, everyone saw the shocking devouring force rip him apart. His heptastar physique was torn to pieces, turning into motes of light.

His corpse was no longer whole after having undergone history’s most thorough quartering!

Feiling had been reduced to dust during her Perpetual Nirvana as well, but she’d still had a chance to reform after each nirvana.

It really did seem like Tianming had eaten Lin Yun. The six dragons had suffered the same fate, but, as they were larger, it was more visually dramatic. The dragons roared and struggled as best as they could, but the hexagonal hole was like a black hole while they were like six noodle strands that were slurped up one by one….

It should have been an internal conflict that led to despair and ended with rivers of blood. However, the final result had exceeded everyone’s expectations.

“What kind of monster is that….”

“Nonsense, that’s the future pillar of our Lin Clan!”

“Lin Yun’s dead! What a joyous occasion!”

“It was a good death! He sold out his own clan, so he didn’t deserve to die with a complete corpse.”

“He was just the start. All the bastards desecrating the ancestors’ resting place will follow him!”

Lin Yun hadn’t just died in the end; his name had become mired in infamy for the rest of time as well.

“Wait! Lin Feng’s moving!”

The black star’s change led to silence. They were all terrified.

Fortunately, the hexagonal hole didn’t face them but instead pointed toward the council hall’s formation. The devouring began once more.

“Who’s his target now?”

“My guess is—”

People weren’t able to voice out their guess before the old woman in purple who was terrorizing Weisheng Moran was dragged out from the formation.

“Lin Ziqing!”

“She was sucked out even through the council hall formation?”

Lin Ziqing had been attacking the Fishguts, constantly forcing Moran’s two formations back. As soon as Lin Ziqing got a chance, all the ladies inside the Fishguts would die!

She had noticed the ancestral world treasure outside the council hall, but had ignored it as she thought of it as the item Tianxi wanted. She was just about to mess with Moran and strike fear into the girls’ hearts when she started hearing the cheering. Before she could figure it out, the black star had sucked out the unprepared Lin Ziqing.

“What the hell!” She used her cosmoforce, creating a purple projection of a sword in an attempt to escape. However, she was shocked silly when she found her struggles and panic amounted to as much as Lin Yun’s: absolutely nothing.

“Help! Save me!” she shrilly shrieked. Her makeup was the first to go as it was sucked away. “Lin Jie!”

“She deserves it!”

“Die!”

“She hated Lin Feng so much. She must’ve been attacking his wives inside!”

“Those are children in their thirties. How vicious of her!”

“It’s her karma.”

Lin Ziqing, as well as her beautiful phoenix lifebound beasts, were mercilessly torn apart.

“Spare me.…” Those were her last words; Lin Ziqing had died.

The cheering started again, regardless of which branch they were from or whether they supported the traditionalists or reformists. No one could accept sellouts like them.

Lin Jie and the rest had underestimated their own clan’s backbone, as well as their bottom line. Most of all, they had underestimated their reverence for their ancestors!
