Chapter 103: 103:AHI Online
"Not entirely," Aria replied, adjusting her glasses and taking a sip. "But I know he\'s been immersed in some high-tech projects. What\'s the latest?"
Celina sighed her expression a mix of worry and curiosity. "He\'s been working on integrating brain-scanning technology into his codes, trying to enhance its cognitive functions using data from Next Gen Innovations. It sounds quite risky."
Aria\'s eyes widened. "Brain scanning? That\'s a bit invasive. Isn\'t there a chance that it could affect his own health or privacy?"
"Exactly," Celina nodded, her voice tinged with concern. "I\'m worried he might push himself too hard. I\'ve noticed that he\'s been preoccupied and neglecting his own well-being these days."
Just then, Elina, Celina\'s daughter, entered the room with a worried look on her face. She had overheard their conversation and was visibly anxious. "Mom, is Big Brother okay? I haven\'t seen him for a few weeks and he\'s been so stressed."
Celina reached out to comfort her daughter, her face softening. "Elina, he\'s just working on something very important. It\'s for the future, but I understand why you\'re worried. After all, we all are."
Elina\'s eyes filled with concern as she clutched her mother\'s arm. "Can\'t we talk to him? Maybe ask him to take a break or at least make sure that he is taking care of himself?"
Aria nodded in agreement. "It\'s important that he doesn\'t overexert himself. Perhaps we should talk to him and see if we can offer some support."
Celina patted Elina\'s hand reassuringly. "We\'ll speak to him soon. For now, let\'s keep a close eye on him and be there for him. He needs to care about his well-being."

Evan\'s braces and plaster had been removed. Except for a slight pain in working, everything seemed alright...
That evening, Evan finally stepped into his workroom, feeling a sense of urgency
He made a few more snippets to keep everything in check.
Evan sat at his desk, typing the final adjustments to his Artificial Human Intelligence (AHI). And as he reviewed the last lines of code, he focused on embedding crucial safeguards into the system.
First, he added a directive to ensure that AHI would always obey his commands. He typed, "AHI must follow all of the creator\'s orders without disobedience."
Satisfied, he moved on to the next safeguard.
Evan then integrated a rule to prevent any physical or mental harm. He coded, "AHI cannot perform actions that could cause harm to the curator." This was essential for his peace of mind.
Finally, Evan considered how AHI would make decisions in his absence. He wrote, "In the creator\'s absence, AHI must consider his feelings and point of view before making any decisions." He wanted to ensure that even when he wasn\'t around, AHI\'s choices would align with his personal values.
As Evan finished these final checks, he felt a wave of relief. These measures were designed to make sure that AHI would be a reliable assistant, always adhering to his commands, safeguarding his well-being, and respecting his values. And now with the code in place, he was ready to see AHI in action.
Two days later, Evan completed his AHI project. He sat back, satisfied, and pressed the final Enter key to run it. The next moment the screen came to life with a series of notifications.

….
"Heheheheheheheeh!"
At that moment, a very sinister and evil laughter escaped from Evan\'s lips unbeknownst to himself. The entire process felt akin to giving birth to a child, and now that the child was about to be born, his heart was almost jumping with joy.
For the first time, Evan felt something like this.
BRRR....BRRRRR!
Soon, a screeching voice echoed in his ears.
"H.. hello...HELO..."
At first, a set of broken murmur-like children stumbling on the voice emerged but it got better as the AI refined its code.
[Hello, creator!]
A neutral, childish voice came out from the speaker.
"Creator!" Evan raised his brows in disbelief.
[Since you created me, aren\'t you the creator? But if you didn\'t like it, should I call you God, or Master... ]
The Ai paused, noticing a change in Evan\'s expression through the cameras, and asked again, "Or should I call you Dad?"
"Why Dad?"
[Then should I call you Mom?]
Evan nearly choked upon hearing this. He couldn\'t tell if this AHI was just innocent or teasing him.
"Stop...Stop...Just call me Sir for now," Evan quickly interjected before it could use all its processing power to learn something wrong.
"But why does your voice sound so childlike?" Evan asked, surprised by the AHI\'s tone.
[The voice reflects my current level of maturity,] the AHI explained. [The data available is limited.]
Evan realized, "I see. I only provided 10 petabytes of data, while the original system used over a zettabyte."
[Allowing me internet access and autonomous learning could speed up my development,] the AHI suggested.
Evan nodded. "Let\'s do that. I want you to mature as quickly as possible."
Then he saw that the AI paused for a moment and then seemed to speak with a hint of shyness.
[Sir, would you like to bestow me a name?]
"Uhh! Sorry, I forgot about that…" Evan rubbed his cheek in embarrassment.
"I will call you Aurora!"
