Chapter 663 - The Evil God Breaks Free

Chapter 663 - The Evil God Breaks Free

Six years… Zhong Yue had taken six years to learn about the Six Path Reincarnation and this was his sole focus during all that time.

But the Dao that merged the power of Six Path and Reincarnation was so complicated that it was beyond the Zhong Yue’s comprehension. Thus, even after trying his best, he was still unable to completely understand it.

In the end of the calculations, the path of Dao was already on the emperor-level. After all, the calculations were built up by the Realm Lord singlehandedly using everything he knew; it was already very impressive that Zhong Yue could pull off what he did to such an extent.

Suddenly, Zhong Yue stopped his cultivation and the fire in his eyes wavered, “This was prepared for an emperor-level Qi Practitioner like the Realm Lord for him to get out. My strength is far weaker than his so with all I’ve learnt so far, it should be enough for me to get out already.”

He then realized that the skeleton hare had also stopped his cultivation and was now standing not far away from him.

By now, the power of the skeleton hare experienced a massive growth; he is now on the level of True Spirit and is a few times stronger than those on the same level as him.

This was all because of the heritage of the Realm Lord that the skeleton hare received which gave him a head start over others

Zhong Yue suddenly thought of something and summoned the skeleton hare to his side and said, “I am leaving this world soon and I will not return anymore, yet I still don’t know your name.”

The hare hopped to his side and replied, “The living beings of the Bone Realms have only names without surnames. Those with a lower position than me will refer me as Master Hare and those higher than me would call me as Three Cleft because of my cleft lips.”

Zhong Yue was left speechless and he said, “How can the future king of the Bone Realm have such a silly name? After my departure from this realm, you will become the king for sure and you can’t possibly be called as King Hare, right? Hmmm, how about Jun? If you become king some day, you will be called King Jun.”

The hare didn’t know what to say at first, but it soon hopped around in joy and shouted, “Jun? King Jun? I like this name! Alright then, from now on, my name will be Jun! Oh, what is your surname?”

“My surname is Zhong.” Zhong Yue replied with a smile.

“Then my surname will be Zhong as well!” shouted the hare happily.

After a moment of happiness, the hare looked at Zhong Yue with sadness and he asked, “Can I leave this realm with you?”

“Do you not want to be the king of this world?” asked the surprised Zhong Yue.

“Not really, it’s kind of boring being a king, I’m more eager to see the world outside,” said the hare, “I want to see what it is in the outside world that would make even the likes of you desperately try to return there.”

Zhong Yue shook his head and he said, “But I can’t take you with you since your body and soul is bound to this world. And with my capabilities, I can’t bring you with me either. But someday in the future, if you manage learn as much as possible of the calculations here, you might gain a chance to leave this realm too.”

The wildfire in the eyes of Jun sparkled and he said in disbelief, “You mean to say that I can get out from this world with my own strength if I study this?”

Zhong Yue turned around, walked out the palace and he said with a nod, “Perhaps one day, you and I will cross paths again.”

“Definitely!” shouted the hare as he sent Zhong Yue off with his eyes.

With a happy laugh, Zhong Yue left the Pale Bone Palace and in an instant, he was already miles away.

Little did he know that in the future, the hare would truly escape from the Bone Realm and make a name for himself well known throughout the world under the name of Zhong Jun, creating a whole new race and becoming the king of the skeleton race before taking the title of King Jun.

Zhong Yue soon arrived at the Pale Bone Palace. He then summoned the skeletons forward and held a ceremony to declare that he would step down from the throne.

He sat on this throne and accepted the worship of the skeletons for one last time as the ghostly fire within the eyes of the skeletons swarmed towards him.

At that moment, he suddenly felt that he didn’t want to leave! After all these years, the skeletons that used to be scary in his eyes had somehow become very cute to him as he developed a sense of attachment to this little world.

Thank god that I am a skeleton or I would have shed tears in front of them.

Zhong Yue chased away his sadness and stood up from the throne, taking the cape off his back and placing the jade bone scepter back against the throne. The two items might be emperor-level divine weapons but he did not feel right claiming them as his own.

The two emperor-level divine weapons were the symbol of a skeleton king and if he stepped down, he was no longer their king so no matter how powerful and precious the emperor-level divine weapons were, it felt it was inappropriate to take them.

“It is time for me to leave! Farewell, my skeleton warriors!” Zhong Yue said as he waved his hand and left.

“Skeleton King Zhong!”

The countless skeletons shouted for Zhong Yue, their voice shook the heaven and earth; the skeleton gods chased after him but they hopelessly realized that the more they chased, the further away Zhong Yue got before he finally disappeared from their vision.

Zhong Yue came back to the place where the cracked dimension appeared and when he looked to the skies, the dimension was already gone and that bridge was no longer there.

He walked towards the location where the bridge was once located and sat down in the sky as the light wheels appeared behind his head. Then, the Pan Gu Celestial Being started channeling the Six Path Wheel and the power of the secret realms rotated and merged together to change into the power of Six Paths.

Then the power of Six Path condensed in the Dao Yi Secret Realm and turned into the Dao

that bore the appearance of a rose that carried the infinite mysteries of Six Paths within it.

And the power of this Dao could turn back into the power of Six Paths or the power of bloodline at anytime!

All powers in the world could be broken down into the power of Yin Yang, Shen Cai, Wan Xiang, Wu Xing, Bloodline, heaven and earth, divine, and finally the Dao.

For example, the visualization of dragons and phoenixes used the power of Wan Xiang, the sun and moon used the power of Yin Yang, the avatar used the power of heaven and earth, the Yuan Shen with the power of divine, the five elements used the power of Wu Xing and the Fuxi True Form was the power of bloodline.

The totem carvings cultivated by the gods were the power of Dao.

In this world, every art and technique found their roots in these sex power, but due to how various powers gathered within the body of a Qi Practitioner, one would require great effort to concentrate all the powers at once.

The Six Paths Reincarnation, however, united these powers together. For instance, if he wanted to use the power of Yin and Yang, the other powers would temporarily morph into the power of Yin and Yang and greatly amplify it!

And that was how the power of Six Paths and Reincarnation was so heaven-defying!

Among the many powers, the power of bloodline was the hardest to master as this power was also the exact power that dictated the life, death, and rebirth of those in the Six Path Worlds!

This power was also what Zhong Yue relied on to find back his “past life’s” body!

He did not buy the fact that his body had long been dead; he firmly believed that it was merely being hidden by the power of Reincarnation or that his body had been transferred somewhere that was deprived of the power of Six Paths, thus, preventing him from retrieving his body.

Now, all he need to do was to master the Six Paths Reincarnation as soon as possible so that he could retrieve his body!

With his cultivation level now, it was still very hard to completely condense a Dao, his own Dao was still very much imperfect.

Zhong Yue patiently sensed for presence of the Dao in the air and suddenly, he realized some abnormality and he felt happy right away. His body then suddenly began to continuously shift between blurry and tangible; his previous body kept on appearing before turning back into the skeleton body.

“Without fully learning the Dao, my body is still not stable enough for me to shake off this skeleton body and recover my proper body,” murmured Zhong Yue.

He sighed and then commanded the Pan Gu Celestial to charge right into the skies.

Zhong Yue unsheathed his saber as the celestial being flew and pulled out his Solar Divine Saber, using it to rip open a hole in the sky before leaping right into it!

On the other hand, in the ancient gigantic palace where the waterfall was located, another four Qi Practitioners ran in. They were from the same group and there were about ten of them but now, only four of them survived. They all had injuries all over their bodies and after getting some rest and treating their wounds, they finally stood up and looked at each other.

“Skill Master, thank god you baited some Qi Practitioners and sacrificed them at needed time or we would have been killed long ago.” said a pretty lady among the four solo survivors.

The young man who was called Skill Master however, replied calmly. “Within those realms sealed away by the ancient one, some of these realms had cultivated terrifying beings or spirits. If we want to push further in, we would either fight to death with them or feed them after the Blood Ritual and only by that will we be able to get out alive. Too bad that the sacrificial offerings we prepared are not enough to get us out unharmed.”

The other Qi Practitioner looked at the waterfall and whispered to another one, “They said that there is the bloodied skeleton god in this realm and the masters such like the Sword Master were killed by that skeleton god. Are we really going to enter this realm?”

Skill Master sneered and said, “You call them strong Qi Practitioners but I call them fools! All they know is to bullishly charge in on matters beyond their capabilities without a proper plan because they think they are strong! Lately, I’ve entered a realm, trained myself for ten years in there and now, my strength has surpassed them! Perhaps, I’m not even weaker than the bloodied skeleton god. Besides, I can guarantee that this skeleton god is also one of those sinister spirits and if we can’t win against him, I am sure that we can safely retreat from the realm. He couldn\'t even get out from there! Absolute safety will also be secured if we offer a blood ritual to him.”

The pretty lady and the other two Qi Practitioners looked at each other with a worried expressions as they all thought, Blood ritual? Which one of us will be sacrificed by then?

Skill Master then got ready to enter the Bone Realm through the waterfall, but all of a sudden, darkness engulfed the surrounding and the water stopped flowing as a huge face that looked like a skeleton surfaced from the water.

The waterfall then trembled greatly as a jade skeleton walked out from the waterfall.

At that moment, the expression of the Skill Master and the others froze on their faces as the next thing they saw was that skeleton seemed to be celebrating happily as it made a laughing gesture.

While the skeleton laughed with extreme joy, cold shivered down the spine of Skill Master and the others as they immediately realized one horrifying fact, the bloodied skeleton good had break himself free from the bindings of the Bone Realm!

“Don’t panic, he might not be the monster skeleton everyone spoke off!” said the Skill Master suddenly, “Rumours had it that the terrifying skeleton is red!”

A saber flashed across their vision and the next thing they knew was that the head of the Skill Master was severed from his body. Then, the skeleton sheathed his saber and the remaining three Qi Practitioners shrieked and ran away in fear, “This is bad! The bloodied skeleton god has escaped from his realm!”
