Chapter 323 - Fifteen Years In Prison

Chapter 323: Fifteen Years In Prison

“You look angelic when you smile.” Bhamra was only praising Yun Xiangxiang’s smile.

Song Mian covered Yun Xiangxiang’s face. “Don’t smile like this to other guys.”

He stood up and ended the video call as Bhamra was protesting vehemently.

Yun Xiangxiang pulled his hand down and pinched his nose in amusement. “When did you become so stingy?”

He held her hand and kissed it gently. “Your charm attracts too many people; I’m jealous.”

The last part of his sentence sounded childish. Yun Xiangxiang knew he must have thought that Lucifer had some ideas about her.

She held his head and touched his forehead with hers. “Lucifer was using me. He left a bad impression on me.”

He wrapped his arms around her slender waist, taking her up and made her sit on his lap facing him. Song Mian grabbed the back of her head and gave her an intense kiss.

It wasn’t a sloppy kiss, but it was a strong one. She couldn’t resist it, so she fell into his embrace and let him do what he wanted.

Every kiss was scorching; every place it went through lit a fire of desire. She trembled.

Yun Xiangxiang thought Lucifer was using her, and perhaps Lucifer thought that himself too. But Song Mian was a man.

A man who deeply loved Yun Xiangxiang. He clearly saw the infatuation in Lucifer’s eyes that nobody else saw.

It wasn’t the infatuation of beautiful things; it was a romantic obsession.

Yun Xiangxiang didn’t expect that Lucifer triggered Song Mian. He left marks on almost all parts of her body.

They did everything except the final step. Even so, he exhausted Yun Xiangxiang, and she fell asleep immediately.

When she woke up the next morning, Yun Xiangxiang was alone in the room. Her neck and the edges of her collarbone were filled with hickies.

When she washed herself up, Yun Xiangxiang looked at her reflection; she noticed that she had lust in her eyes and hickies on her neck. She couldn’t go out like this.

She wanted to keep on shooting the promo ad since it was nearly the middle of the month now, and she had to go back by the twentieth.

As she was short on time, Yun Xiangxiang had to treasure every second. But Song Mian messed up her plans. The hickies on her neck alone were already a lot; heavens knew how many of them were on her back...

The dresses for the promo ad were evening gowns that revealed the shoulder and the back. She couldn’t wear that looking like this.

“Come have breakfast.” Song Mian came to the doorstep of the bathroom, looking satisfied and refreshed.

Yun Xiangxiang glared at him. “Do this one more time, and there will not be a next time.

She went back to the room angrily only to find out that this was Song Mian’s room, and all her clothes were in the other room.

She wanted to get a high-collared shirt to cover the hickies. If she went back like this, she couldn’t explain this to her friends.

She took out Song Mian’s phone, but then she saw a smiling Song Mian who followed her. “Open the door!” she ordered.

Song Mian quietly went over and unlocked the door. Yun Xiangxiang called Song Qian and asked her to send a set of clothes over.

She wore a crew-neck, short-sleeved shirt and a pair of short jeans. The hickies were covered with makeup products, and Yun Xiangxiang observed herself in the mirror closely to make sure nothing could be seen before she went to have breakfast.

She was already glowering at Song Mian early in the morning. When Song Meng saw them being like this, she was puzzled.

She took some time and pulled Yun Xiangxiang to the side. “You just got back, and you guys are fighting already?”

“Who told you we’re fighting?” Yun Xiangxiang was confused.

“You’re fierce to him, and he’s trying to calm you down. Isn’t this fighting?” Song Meng asked.

Yun Xiangxiang smiled meaningfully at her and beckoned her to come closer.

When Song Meng got closer excitedly, Yun Xiangxiang said in mischief, “Singles like you will never understand this.”

Yun Xiangxiang dashed away, leaving Song Meng huffing and puffing there. “Don’t let me get you, Yun Xiangxiang, or else you’ll know the power of singles!”

Rays of the morning sunshine shone on the glass and broke into balls of light.

Through the colorful halo, two youthful girls could be seen frolicking in the garden.

Song Mian stood handsomely in front of the window; a warm glass of water in his hand. When he looked at Yun Xiangxiang, he smiled.

“She isn’t traumatized.” Qi Jun stood beside Song Mian.

He looked at Yun Xiangxiang, who was being chased by Song Meng. When he noticed the bright smile on her face, he praised her.

She was kidnapped, nearly sold, and was imprisoned. Even so, she didn’t seem to care about that; this wasn’t something anyone could fake.

She honestly didn’t care. Only someone with an indomitable could could do this.

Yun Xiangxiang didn’t look like someone who had gone through this when she was a child, and yet she could put this behind her.

“What did Eric say?” Song Mian took a sip of the water and asked calmly.

“He said nothing. I think he agrees to your plan, but Faye is now hiding in their old master’s house,” Qi Jun answered. “The police still can’t take her away.”

A cold glint flashed in Song Mian’s eyes, and the warm smile became colder.

“He wants to see you.” Qi Jun continued.

“I don’t have the time for that. Since he can’t educate his granddaughter well, I am more than happy to do it for him.” Song Mian was as cold as the winter gale; as dangerous as a sharp saber. “Fifteen years. No compromise.”

If it weren’t for Yun Xiangxiang’s magnanimity, a mere fifteen years in prison wouldn’t have been enough to settle this.

“He means that it’s fine no matter how long the punishment is, but they don’t want her to go to jail.” Qi Jun knew what the Cardicra Family was saying, but he had to relay what the Cardicra Family had in mind since he was Song Mian’s representative.

If the one they offended was not Song Mian, they could forge a mental illness history for Faye and send her to a mental asylum.

Putting Song Mian’s status aside, he was also a powerful man.

Even if Faye truly was mentally ill, one statement from him was enough to scare every hospital off from giving out the certificate, let alone forge one.

Song Mian was the absolute emperor in the medical field.

“Impossible,” Song Mian refused unhesitatingly. “We will go through the legal procedures, and nobody is going to interfere. This is already my biggest compromise.”

A silvery laughter traveled into the room. Song Mian looked at the happy Yun Xiangxiang, and his heart melted. “He should feel lucky that my woman has a kind heart.”

Everyone would always say that healers were compassionate, but they were oftentimes the most cold-hearted, as they were used to seeing the joy of life and the sorrow of death.

“I understand.” Qi Jun nodded. “Then what about Faye’s fiancé?” he asked.

“If they think having too much money is trouble, we can make arrangements for them too.”
